The Pray for Humanity initiative, launched by the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF), has received an overwhelming global response by political and religious leaders, international organizations, media, and celebrities who have expressed their support to the initiative and announced their participation in the day of prayer and supplication on 14th May 2020.
Many figures, celebrities, and organizations have issued press releases and shared videos online, in which announced their participation by joining in prayer and making supplications to God Almighty to help humankind overcome the Coronavirus pandemic and to guide and inspire scientists to create a vaccine to rid the world of this unmerciful virus. They have also expressed their support to the initiative which is uniting the peoples of the world at a time where solidarity is of utmost importance.
Likewise, the initiative got a great response from social media users across the world as the #PrayForHumanity hashtag trended on Twitter in many countries, reflecting the success of the HCHF’s campaign on traditional and digital media to deliver this humanitarian call across the globe.
The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity was established to implement the humanitarian principles advocated by the Document on Human Fraternity and engage all religious and international organizations in this process to achieve peace, coexistence, global citizenship, and human fraternity.
