Chennai : ‘Karuppu Vellai’ is a new crime show launched on September 1st on Pudhuyugam, which is being aired during the weekdays (Monday – Friday) at 9:30PM. This show has been created with an intention to unravel the grey areas and negative aspects prevalent in the Society.
According to the channel, The show will reveal the real life Incidents of crime and what happens behind the scenes in a transparent style with a social conscience. The stories behind the crimes and people behind such incidents will be tamed with the support of hidden cameras. The high end research team that operates at the back end will select the cases from the day to day life and conduct an extensive study and constantly update the front end team that will function daringly.
the channel sources state that in addition to that the show will also fearlessly bring to light unsolved kidnapping cases, anti social crimes, incidents that destroy the social fabric and unearth many more crimes that are hidden due to lack of courage of the victims to face the society and consequences.
Incidentally, the past trend shows that the crime shows at late night time bands always being received well by the audience of the Tamil Nadu market and Puthuyugam is planning to leverage the absence of such shows currently in the main stream GEC channels.
