Mumbai: Ram Madhvani Films, Equinox Films, and Equinox Virtual have announced a leadership alignment, strengthening their structure as the companies scale across advertising, long-form content, and technology-led storytelling.

The alignment comes amid significant business expansion, including immersive, VR- and AI-led content verticals alongside continued growth in advertising and long-form storytelling.

Ram Madhvani will continue as Founder and Chairman, retaining creative leadership and strategic oversight across the companies. Amita Madhvani, Co-Founder, assumes the additional role of CEO, responsible for driving growth and business strategy across all three entities, scaling creative and commercial ambitions, and accelerating expansion into new formats and technologies.

Ram Madhvani, Founder and Chairman, said, “The most important thing for us is reinvention. For me it’s important to have a vision and pass it on whether it’s in films, series, advertising, VR, AI and newer forms of storytelling yet to come. Amita Madhvani, Co-Founder and CEO, said, “Stepping into this role at a time when storytelling is being reshaped by technology is both exciting and challenging. The focus ahead is on expanding our creative universe from redefining how advertising films are made, to building AI-led characters and immersive VR experiences. As we scale, the opportunity is to create work that feels new, relevant and ambitious, while building businesses that are equipped for the future.”

Manoj Shroff, Business Head and Executive Producer at Equinox Films, will continue to lead the advertising business, driving efficiency, scale, and innovation in advertising filmmaking, including integration of new production technologies.

Khvafar Vakharia, Business Head and Creative Executive Producer at Equinox Virtual, will lead growth across immersive and emerging formats, overseeing AI-driven, VR-led, and experimental storytelling projects.

Over the past year, the group has delivered diverse work across advertising, branded content, and immersive storytelling. Highlights include campaigns for Airtel, Hilton, Nykaa, Aldo, and Nestlé Milkmaid, the release of the patriotic series The Waking of a Nation, and innovative AI-VR projects like the Bhagavad Gita-inspired short film and the AI musical IP Mohini – Khud Se Pyaar.

Operating from a shared creative base, the companies continue to collaborate closely while pursuing distinct creative mandates, building a portfolio that reflects both scale and innovation.
