New Delhi: Ranjeev Vij, Executive Director at TBWA\India and Managing Director of Nissan United, has announced his departure from the agency, according to industry sources. His last working day will be May 2, 2025.
Vij leaves behind an impressive legacy, having led integrated advertising, digital, and media strategies for marquee brands including Nissan, Air India Express, Philips, and Eicher Motors. His leadership was instrumental in the launch of the new Nissan facelift, a campaign that earned widespread acclaim and multiple honors, including Gold for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign and Silver for Best Product Launch Campaign.
With a career spanning over 25 years across top global advertising networks, consultancies, and digital-first organizations, Vij is recognized as one of India’s foremost marketing strategists. His previous leadership roles include tenures at Ogilvy, McCann, BBDO, Zeno, Cognizant, and Adfactors PR.
Among his notable achievements, Vij launched Proximity — BBDO’s CRM and digital arm — in India, established Cognizant’s digital marketing practice in the UK, and pioneered real-time social media command centres for high-profile brand campaigns. At Adfactors PR, he played a key role in scaling the firm’s digital operations, positioning it as a serious force in integrated communications.
