Bengaluru: redBus, the largest online bus ticketing platform, has announced the appointment of Saurabh Agarwal as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this strategic leadership role, Saurabh will oversee the company’s finance functions, including Finance Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Risk and Compliance, Legal, and Taxation.
Bringing over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors such as healthtech, life insurance, and home interiors, Saurabh’s appointment signals redBus’ continued focus on financial agility, strategic expansion, and operational excellence. He began his career at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, where he held key roles in corporate planning, finance operations, and distribution strategy over a span of 11 years. In 2014, he joined the founding team of Medlife.com, playing a pivotal role in scaling it into one of India’s leading digital health platforms. Most recently, he served as Group CFO at Livspace, steering the company through a period of rapid growth and international market expansion.

Saurabh is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and holds a CIMA qualification in Strategic Management from London. He is also an alumnus of INSEAD and earned his Bachelor of Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai.
