New Delhi: Sapphire Foods India has announced a series of senior leadership appointments across its KFC and Pizza Hut operations, with Vikrant Vohra set to take charge as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company’s KFC business.
According to a regulatory filing, Vohra will assume the role on July 25, 2026, succeeding Deepak Taluja, who has tendered his resignation and will leave the company effective July 24 after completing his notice period.
Vohra currently serves as Executive Vice President and CEO of Sapphire Foods’ Pizza Hut business and will continue to be part of the company’s senior management team following the transition.
The leadership changes are part of a broader management restructuring aimed at strengthening operational leadership across Sapphire Foods’ restaurant brands.
A hospitality industry veteran with nearly 20 years of experience, Vohra holds a degree in hotel management and has worked with several leading hotel chains, including The Park, Hyatt, Taj, and Marriott International. Since joining Sapphire Foods, he has held key operational leadership positions across KFC markets in Karnataka, Kerala and West India before taking over the Pizza Hut business in India.
As part of the reorganisation, the company has also promoted Saurabh Girdhar to Assistant Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Pizza Hut business, effective July 25, 2026.
Girdhar currently oversees Pizza Hut operations in Bangalore and Kerala as Chief Operating Officer. He brings more than 17 years of experience in the quick-service restaurant sector and has previously worked with Yum India and Devyani International before joining Sapphire Foods.
The appointments underscore Sapphire Foods’ focus on internal leadership development as it continues to strengthen its management bench across both the KFC and Pizza Hut businesses.
