Sony YAY! announces Indian TV premiere of global anime blockbuster ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’
Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: Sony YAY! continues to drive the anime revolution in India with the first-ever Indian television premiere of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’, one of the most celebrated anime blockbusters of all time.

The global hit film, which grossed over 26.5 billion yen and attracted more than *20.51 million viewers worldwide, is set to air on Wednesday, 5th November at 9:00 PM. Fans and families across India can experience the cinematic spectacle in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Over the past few years, anime has evolved from a niche interest into a vibrant cultural phenomenon in India. At the forefront of this movement is Sony YAY!, a brand that has played a pivotal role in introducing premium anime content to Indian audiences. Following the success of titles like Naruto, the channel now takes another bold leap with Jujutsu Kaisen 0—a story rich with emotion, action, and imagination.

The film follows Yuta Okkotsu, a young boy haunted by a curse, as he joins Tokyo Jujutsu High to learn how to harness his powers—a tale of friendship, loss, and courage that transcends language and culture.

Ambesh Tiwari, Business Head at Sony YAY!, said, “We are all cognizant of the growing popularity of anime in India. With the surge in demand for top-quality anime content, it is our endeavor and promise to deliver the very best to our viewers. The first time ever TV premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a step in that direction, bringing Indian fans closer to the global anime phenomenon and strengthening our commitment to making world-class storytelling accessible to everyone.”
