Apollo 11 was a dream mission for humanity, and we are proud to celebrate the 50th anniversary by showcasing our content strength. Sony BBC Earth’s first-of-a-kind association with Nehru Science Centre is another strategic step in engaging with the viewers by recreating the experience for them on the big screen”.

Shiv Prasad Khenned, Director at Nehru Science Center said, “To commemorate the monumental achievement of Neil Armstrong’s small step on moon, 50 years ago, the Nehru Science Centre is privileged to partner with Sony BBC Earth to film the historic BBC documentary “Eight Days to the Moon and Back”, which presents, with original archival footings and voices of the astronauts, the triumphs and tribulations that went into making the Apollo 11 mission a grand success.
