Sumo India Studios has announced the appointment of Rixon Pinto as Marketing and Communications Manager. With over eight years of extensive experience in PR and Communications, Rixon will spearhead Sumo’s marketing and external engagement functions and be instrumental in strengthening and accelerating the company’s vision in India.
Additionally, he will oversee designing and executing compelling marketing and communications programs via various internal and external channels, as well as sparking meaningful partnerships within the industry, driving awareness, and boosting the organization’s profile in India.
Rixon has held multiple roles in PR and Corporate Communications, his most recent role being Communications and Reputation Manager at Games24x7. He has also worked with companies including SAP India, Ketchum Sampark, and Trunkoz. Rixon brings strong expertise in internal communications, external media engagements, analyst relations, and customer communications.
“Gaming has always been a passion for me since childhood,” said Rixon. “So being one of the brand custodians, working alongside extremely talented teams for a company that designs awesome games, is a dream come true. I look forward to this journey, to learn and grow with the brand and build a better presence for Sumo in India,” he added.
