Bengaluru: Diageo India has appointed Tanya Singh as the Senior General Manager – Brand Marketing for Johnnie Walker, one of the company’s most iconic labels. Singh brings over a decade of diverse experience across the consumer goods, retail, and luxury fashion sectors.
Prior to this move, Singh spent eight years at Unilever, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the premium makeup portfolio for Lakmé. Her tenure at Unilever saw her take on multiple leadership positions, driving brand and business growth across several key categories.
Singh’s earlier roles include her time at Raymond Limited, where she served as Deputy Manager – eCommerce, and at Reliance Brands Limited, where she held the position of Manager – Projects. In these capacities, she was instrumental in executing strategic initiatives that aligned with business transformation goals.
An MBA graduate in Marketing from IIM Kozhikode, Singh has also bolstered her credentials with a certification in digital strategy from Harvard University. Known for her ability to work closely with CXOs on executive and project management mandates, she has consistently led high-impact initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Singh’s appointment is expected to further elevate Johnnie Walker’s brand positioning in India, as Diageo continues to sharpen its premium portfolio strategy in one of its key growth markets.
