Mumbai: Tempest Advertising has announced the appointment of Aparna Nawathe as Vice President & Branch Head, Mumbai, marking a key milestone in the agency’s national expansion strategy and strengthening its presence in India’s largest business hub.
The Mumbai expansion represents a strategic move for the agency as it looks to bring its expertise in insight-led, integrated communication to a market known for its scale, complexity, and competitive intensity. The new office is expected to enhance Tempest’s ability to engage with leading brands and deliver high-impact communication solutions.
In her new role, Nawathe will lead the agency’s Mumbai operations, focusing on building strategic partnerships, driving business growth, and addressing complex brand challenges through integrated communication approaches. Her mandate also includes strengthening client relationships and expanding Tempest’s footprint in the region.
With close to two decades of experience, Nawathe brings expertise across brand strategy, corporate storytelling, integrated marketing, and transformation initiatives. She has worked with leading brands such as Unilever, Godrej, and Dabur, and has led brand marketing at Shoppers Stop, Femina, and Lavasa. She has also collaborated with institutions such as the Ministry of Textiles, Cotton Association of India, Tata Trusts, and Saint-Gobain.
