Titan’s jewellery-arm Tanishq ramps up with ‘Gold Standard’ safety measures 2.0
Share Share ShareShare

New Delhi: Tanishq, India’s leading and most trusted jewelry brand from the house of Tata today introduced new safety features adding to the existing set of safety measures announced earlier. The company has announced the use of UVC Chambers, Pulse Oximeter, and Face Shields at the stores to further strengthen the safety measures at a time when the Covid-19 cases are on the rise.

Tanishq is committed to ensuring safety across all customer and employee touch-points with its Gold Standard’ safety e-book that reiterates the company’s commitment to the safety and well-being of customers and its employees at the store. Tanishq has come up with a host of safety measures starting from the entrance with footwear sanitizing mats, temperature checks through thermal guns, and encouraging digital payment options for contactless billing. Apart from maintaining social distancing, all staff members are trained to serve the customers in a safe environment by wearing relevant safety equipment while addressing all the customers at the store.

In addition to the existing safety norms, Tanishq has announced the use of additional safety measures to further strengthen the precautionary measures undertaken across all Tanishq stores. The brand is making use of technologically advanced UV- C chambers for jewelry sanitization post each trial along with sanitizing jewelry using a steam cleaner, sanitizers, and ultrasonic beams. The smaller UV-C chambers are also being used to sanitize customer belongings like- keys, wallets and credit cards, etc. Pulse Oximeter along with face shields is mandatory for all employees as a precautionary measure to check their Oxygen saturation levels which would help in identifying underlying respiratory distress if any. The brand is also encouraging customers to check their oxygen saturation levels for personal safety in select cities. Tanishq has also made transportation arrangements for employees & support staff in select cities to promote the utmost safety complying with social distancing measures.

Speaking about the additional safety measures at the stores, Arun Narayan, AVP Category, Marketing & Retail, Tanishq, Titan Company Limited said “We’ve kept the well-being of our customers & employees paramount by adhering to the highest standards of safety in all our stores. Our safety measures have received the highest rating in our rolling NPS survey with 28% customers rating it the best! Now, with rising Covid-19 cases, we are going further on safety by deploying UVC Chambers, Pulse Oximeters & Face Shields in our stores. This is in addition to steam cleaning all jewelry after every customer trial. With these additional measures, our stores are the safest to buy jewelry. However, in the last one-month #customers have chosen to buy jewelry through video calls and we are very happy to serve the best experience both in store as well as at home. “
