Mumbai: Unilazer Ventures, headed by Ronnie Screwvala, has hired sports-marketing veteran Supratik Sen as its CEO for Unilazer Sports.
Supratik Sen had earlier worked as National Head for Sports and Events Marketing at Red Bull India. Unilazer Sports, a division of Unilazer Ventures, will concentrate on Teams, Leagues, Academies and creating IPs and Franchises in two or three selected Sports.
Unilazer Ventures Ltd, promoted by Ronnie Screwvala, is a diversified entity with focus on creating ground up businesses and being a Strategic Equity Investor in others.
The ex national Rugby player, who was also a professionally trained footballer and cricketer, had worked in the last five years at Red Bull India leading all their major projects with athletes, sports projects and events in the country. Before joining Red Bull, Supratik was with Australian major Repucom. He had also worked with sports, event marketing and media management companies Procam, Percept D’Mark and E-Sense Entertainment. He has over 15 years of work experience in sports marketing and talent management. He had contributed a lot to Future Hope India that works in grassroots development of Sport in Eastern India.
