Mumbai: VIDA, Powered by Hero, has launched a new television and digital campaign titled ‘Charging Simple Hai’, aimed at highlighting the convenience of its removable battery technology. Timed with the high viewership of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the campaign reinforces VIDA’s message: “Impossible nahi, simple hai.”
The campaign communicates VIDA’s central idea that “Every plug point is a VIDA charging point”. Designed to democratise EV adoption across Indian households, the VIDA V2 electric scooter features removable batteries that can be charged via any standard 5-ampere wall socket — eliminating the need to move the entire scooter for charging.
Presented in a slice-of-life storytelling format, the TV commercial shows a humorous and relatable conversation among friends around the common misconceptions of EV charging. The protagonist casually removes the VIDA battery and charges it in a regular socket, demonstrating how simple and practical EV ownership can be.
The campaign is being broadcast during prime-time IPL slots on television, and is also running across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and other VIDA-owned digital channels for maximum reach and engagement.
