Dinamalar has announced the appointment of Vidhyaprakash Duraisamy as Assistant General Manager – Connect. Duraisamy brings with him 15 years of experience in the print industry and is set to take up his new role from May 2023 onwards.
Prior to joining Dinamalar, Vidhyaprakash Duraisamy held the position of Deputy Chief Manager, Key Accounts, at The Times of India. Before joining TOI, he had been associated with Dinamalar for more than seven years, having served in the position of Deputy Regional Manager in his last role.
Duraisamy’s key role at Dinamalar will be to strengthen the Connect team and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the brand. In addition, special roles have been assigned to him by the Business Director, which will be disclosed soon.
An official statement from Dinamalar on the appointment, read, “Duraisamy is excited to be joining Dinamalar and is keen to accelerate the growth of the newspaper’s advertising revenue. He has reasonable expertise in print selling and is eager to onboard many more national brands by providing them with solutions in the Tamil Nadu market.”
