HT Media Group has appointed Vijay Nair as its new Vice President and Head Events. He previously worked as Vice President and Marketing Head at Shine.com.

Prior to HT Media Group, Nair associated with Shine.com as VP & Marketing Head between 2021 and 2024. Before this, he served as AVP & Country Head (National Geographic Expeditions) at The Walt Disney Company from 2017 to 2020. Previous to this, Nair worked for TUI where he played various roles between 2015 and 2017.
Prior to his tenure with TUI, Nair served in leading Marketing roles at Thomas Cook Limited from 2007 to 2013. His second stint with the company, as AVP – Leisure Travel, covered between 2014 and 2015. He also started his career as Assistant Manager at Atul Ltd since 2003.
With over 15 years of experience, Nair has expertise in Brand Management, Product Promotions, Alliances & Partnerships, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Category Marketing, P & L Management, Analytics, Online Marketing, Key Account Management, Market Research, Team Management, and Entrepreneurial Zeal.
