Singapore: Global payments leader Visa has strengthened its Asia Pacific marketing leadership with the appointment of Danny Irsyaduddin Osman as head of media, social, data, content, and digital innovation, alongside a parallel move to enhance its in-house creative capabilities.
In his newly created regional role, Danny will oversee the integration of media, content, social, and data strategies, with a focus on delivering more cohesive and engaging consumer experiences across Asia Pacific. His mandate spans a vast and diverse footprint, including Southeast Asia, India and South Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Greater China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and the Pacific Islands.
The move reflects Visa’s growing emphasis on a social-first, data-led marketing approach aimed at strengthening connections with younger, digitally native audiences. Danny is expected to play a key role in translating cultural insights into measurable business outcomes, aligning brand storytelling more closely with performance metrics.
He joins Visa from TikTok, where he served as head of brand partnerships for Singapore and other regional hub markets. Since joining TikTok in 2021, he held multiple leadership roles, including driving partnerships across financial services and energy sectors within Southeast Asia. His experience in platform-led marketing and audience engagement is seen as critical to Visa’s evolving digital strategy.
Before TikTok, Danny was associated with Carousell as senior account manager for advertising, media, and strategic partnerships across APAC. In this role, he worked closely with brands and agencies to deliver managed services and programmatic solutions tailored to mobile-first consumers. His earlier career includes stints at SPH Radio and Sphere Exhibits.
Danny’s appointment follows another significant leadership addition earlier this year, with Visa naming Alvina Seah as head of Visa Design and Creative Studio for Asia Pacific. In this newly established role, Seah is tasked with building and leading an in-house creative function to elevate the brand’s marketing output and drive innovation at scale.
Seah joins from GOVT VCCP, where she served as partner and executive director. At Visa, she will focus on enhancing creative excellence, strengthening brand identity, and supporting business growth across the region.
Together, these leadership appointments signal Visa’s intent to deepen its integrated marketing capabilities in Asia Pacific, combining data-driven precision with creative excellence to stay competitive in an increasingly digital-first landscape.
