WeWork India, a provider of flexible workspaces, has collaborated with Heads Up For Tails to promote pet welfare and responsible ownership through an adoption drive titled ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’. Taking place on September 20, 2024, the event will be held at WeWork Galaxy (BLR), WeWork Raheja Platinum (MUM), and WeWork Forum (NCR). This initiative aims to enhance awareness and inspire action for better pet care, emphasizing the importance of responsible pet adoption.

Adopt Don’t Shop is a celebration for animals and their enthusiasts, where pet parents are encouraged to bring their furry companions. Attendees will have the chance to meet cats and dogs, each with their own distinct personalities and ready for adoption. The event features interactive pop-up spaces, allowing guests to engage directly with the animals, and includes expert-led masterclasses from veterinarians, behaviorists, trainers, and nutritionists offering essential guidance for responsible pet ownership. The event highlights the importance of adopting pets over purchasing them, promoting a culture of kindness and compassion. Additionally, pet parents can.

“Pets are much more than just companions; they are our daily source of joy, enriching our lives with their unconditional love. At WeWork India, we aim to nurture a compassionate society. We are delighted to partner with Heads Up For Tails for ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’. It underscores our commitment to building a community that cares deeply for both people and animals. Every adoption is a transformative act, a powerful choice that not only supports responsible pet ownership but also helps reduce shelter populations. Through the ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’ drive, we’re championing compassion, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to giving animals the lives they deserve.” said Raghuvinder Singh Pathania, Head of Community & Operations at WeWork India.

Rashi Narang, Founder and Creative Director at Heads Up For Tails said, “At Heads Up For Tails, our mission has always been to ensure every pet finds a loving home and that responsible pet parenting is celebrated. Partnering with WeWork India for the ‘Adopt Don’t Shop’ drive is a fantastic opportunity to amplify this message and truly make a difference. Together, we’re not just advocating for adoption; we’re building a community where compassion for animals is at the heart of everything we do. The number of animals in need of homes and facing abandonment far exceeds the number of homes available. In a country like India, where human concerns often overshadow animal welfare, it’s crucial that we come together to support our furry friends. This partnership embodies HUFT’s dedication to raising awareness and impacting the lives of pets. Our goal is to connect passionate pet lovers with rescued and orphaned animals seeking safe, loving homes. Together, we can create a more compassionate world for every pet”

The collaboration between WeWork India and Heads Up For Tails underscores their dedication to creating a positive community impact. By supporting pet welfare and promoting adoption through the “Adopt Don’t Shop” initiative, WeWork India extends its commitment to meaningful causes beyond the office, fostering a more inclusive and compassionate environment for all.
