World Pickleball League onboards Sony LIV as Official Digital Streaming Partner for Season 2

Mumbai: The World Pickleball League (WPBL) has announced Sony LIV as its official digital streaming partner, strengthening the league’s digital presence ahead of its high-octane Season 2. Under the exclusive partnership, all 120 matches of the upcoming season will be streamed live and on-demand on Sony LIV, bringing elite pickleball action to millions of fans across India.

Season 2 of the World Pickleball League will feature seven teams owned by prominent celebrities, including megastar Samantha Ruth Prabhu, National Award-winning filmmaker Atlee, youth icon Rishabh Pant, Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar, actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, and power couple Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh. The season promises an immersive viewing experience, combining competitive sport with celebrity participation and high-energy entertainment.

With this partnership, Sony LIV will offer fans seamless access to every match, key moments and exclusive content across devices, further amplifying the league’s reach among digitally engaged audiences. The World Pickleball League is affiliated with the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP) and the United World Pickleball Federation (UWPF).

World Pickleball League Season 2 will feature 120 matches played over 13 days, up from 90 matches in the inaugural season, with participation from 56 world-class players representing 18 nations. With Sony LIV onboard as the official digital streaming partner, WPBL aims to engage a new generation of sports fans through high-quality, seamless live coverage and a strong OTT ecosystem.
