Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., has announced the appointment of Divya Karani as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors.
With over four decades of experience in the media and advertising industry, Karani brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Her extensive background in spearheading large advertising and media agencies across India, South Asia, UK, and Asia Pacific will be invaluable to Zee Entertainment’s growth and expansion plans.
Karani’s impressive career includes her tenure as CEO of Dentsu Media, South Asia, where she led the agency for over 12 years, establishing it as a prominent media agency network in the region. She currently serves as Chairperson and Executive Director of Kulfi Collective, a modern media network that builds brands and studios at the intersection of content, commerce, and culture.
In addition to her new role at Zee Entertainment, Karani also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Jagran Prakashan, a position she has held since 2019. Her contributions to the industry have been recognized through her roles as Chairperson, MRUC Radio Committee, and as a member of the Board of Media Research Users Council.
