Mumbai: This Diwali, ZEE5 is set to bring audiences a gripping thriller with the premiere of Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas on 17th October 2025. The platform unveiled the film’s trailer today, offering a glimpse into an intense face-off between powerhouse performers Arshad Warsi and Jitendra Kumar.
Produced by Jio Studios in association with Baweja Studios & Dog ‘n’ Bone Pictures, the film is directed by Akshay Shere and set in Robertsganj, Uttar Pradesh. The story follows Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat (Arshad Warsi) as he investigates a series of brutal murders while struggling with his own inner demons. Meanwhile, Jitendra Kumar takes on a never-seen-before avatar as Sameer, a seemingly ordinary young man with dark, layered secrets.
With fast-paced sequences, chilling visuals, and a haunting background score, the trailer sets the stage for a dramatic showdown of good versus evil.
