CNBC-TV18 unveils ad campaign to assert Budget Day dominance

New Delhi: CNBC-TV18, a business news channel, has unveiled a compelling print ad showcasing its leadership and dominance on Budget Day.

On Budget Day (July 23), in a front-page ad in The Economic Times, the Business news channel reiterates CNBC-TV18’s dominant position in English business news, outshining ET NOW with edgy visuals and compelling copy.

According to the latest BARC data, on Budget Day, CNBC-TV18 had a market share of 91.2%, with ET NOW earning 8.8% market share. (Source: BARC India)

In its 25th year, CNBC-TV18 covered the post-election Union Budget with innovative “Go for Growth” theme, presenting diverse sector recommendations to the finance ministry. Shows like Budget Countdown series and Budget Townhall analyzed current economic conditions and government priorities.

The channel boasts an impressive team of anchors including Shereen Bhan, Latha Venkatesh, Prashant Nair, Sonia Shenoy, Surabhi Upadhyay, Nigel D’Souza, and Parikshit Luthra. They are behind the power-packed performance and programming. CNBC-TV18 also introduced Budget Buddy, an AI tool simplifying Union Budget jargon.

CNBC-TV18, as the nation’s Budget Headquarters, captures the Budget expectations of common citizens, reflecting national sentiments. Through the ‘CNBC-TV18 Budget Box – Share Your Budget Wishlist for the FM’ initiative, citizens shared Budget 2024 hopes at multiple locations in Mumbai and Delhi, including malls, PVR cinema halls, colleges, and convenience stores. The initiative extended virtually on the CNBC-TV18 website for social media followers to express their wishlist.
