Adani's “Story of Suraj” Captures the Human Side of Renewable Power

Ahmedabad: The Adani Group, India’s largest and fastest-growing integrated infrastructure conglomerate, has launched the third film in its powerful #HumKarkeDikhateHain series, titled “Story of Suraj.” The film continues the Group’s mission to spotlight how clean energy is transforming lives across India—this time through the lens of solar power.

Set in a town now thriving with uninterrupted solar electricity, Story of Suraj follows the journey of Rakesh, a man who returns to his hometown to discover how Adani’s solar energy solutions have revolutionized the community. From vibrant farms and digital classrooms to energized hospitals and revitalized livelihoods, the story captures how renewable energy is creating real-world impact.

“At Adani, we are not just generating electricity—we are creating pathways for progress. This film reflects the real impact of solar energy on everyday life. The transformation of one town is emblematic of the change we’re enabling across India,” said Ajay Kakar, Head – Corporate Branding, Adani Group.

Directed by Amit Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame and conceptualized by Ogilvy India, the film blends emotional storytelling with the visionary goals of Adani’s clean energy mission. The campaign shines a light on how the Group is using technology not just for infrastructure—but for inclusive, human-centered development.

“Adani adds one more human touch to technology with its new solar energy film. Story of Suraj shines by showing how solar energy brings life-changing opportunities to communities, helping them build a brighter future,” shared Piyush Pandey, Chief Advisor, Ogilvy India.

The film underscores the role of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL)—one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies—in driving India’s green energy transition. With a robust portfolio of solar and wind projects, AGEL is leading efforts to power the nation sustainably.

Story of Suraj will be showcased across multiple platforms including digital, television, radio, and social media, amplifying Adani Group’s message of sustainable impact, community upliftment, and progress powered by clean energy.
