New Delhi: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium, has unveiled its Independence Day campaign, “Badhte Bharat Ki Pehchaan”, celebrating the nation’s march towards self-reliance, innovation, and inclusive growth. The initiative underscores aluminium’s pivotal role in powering sectors that are shaping a resurgent India — from electric mobility and renewable energy to aerospace, defence, and infrastructure — thereby positioning the metal as a key contributor to the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
The campaign was rolled out in phases, starting with intriguing teaser visuals that spotlighted India’s progress while keeping the driving force behind it a mystery, thereby building curiosity and anticipation. This was followed by a powerful digital film that revealed Vedanta Aluminium as the backbone of the nation’s transformation. The film showcased how aluminium enables EVs, solar panels, defence systems, and smart infrastructure, concluding with the impactful message: “Hum hai Vedanta Aluminium. Hum Badhte Bharat ki Pehchaan hain.”
Commenting on the company’s spirit this Independence Day, Rajiv Kumar, CEO, Vedanta Aluminium, said, “This year’s Independence Day theme, ‘Naya Bharat’, reflects a reality in the making, driven by innovation, resilience, and self-reliance. To further amplify the message of collective progress, Vedanta Aluminium also launched an employee-led activation, where its workforce shared selfies with the campaign tagline on social media, showcasing themselves as the real faces behind India’s industrial growth. Additionally, the company rolled out an ongoing series of digital snippets spotlighting its contributions to EV manufacturing, renewable energy, and defence alloys, while continuing to highlight employee participation in building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
