New York: The One Club for Creativity has announced the winners of its coveted 2026 One Show Pencil and Merit awards from 57 countries — with India delivering a strong showing across multiple categories. Studio Eeksaurus Productions Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai led India’s performance by winning the country’s only Gold Pencil of the year, while agencies including 22Feet Tribal Worldwide, Leo India, Ogilvy Mumbai, and VML India added Silver and Bronze Pencils to India’s impressive overall tally of one Gold, three Silver, nine Bronze, and 16 Merits.
Studio Eeksaurus Productions Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai won India’s only 2026 One Show Gold Pencil for “Desi Oon” on behalf of Centre for Pastoralism — in The Indies, Craft — Animation/Motion Design. The studio also picked up a Bronze Pencil for the same work in Design in Advertising, Craft — Animation, and another Bronze in The Indies, Film and Video — cementing “Desi Oon” as one of India’s most celebrated campaigns at this year’s global awards.
Among the Silver Pencil winners, 22Feet Tribal Worldwide Mumbai — working with McCann India and Butterfly Cannon London — earned a Silver for “The Art of Survival” for Diageo Godawan Single Malt in Design and Branding, Packaging — Specialty/Limited Edition. Leo India Mumbai, in partnership with PepsiCo India Delhi, won a Silver for “Darescore” for Mountain Dew in Creative Use of Data, Brand Partnerships. Lightbox/Godrej Creative Lab Mumbai won a Silver for “The Naga Saint Eye Test” for Eyebetes in Pharma, Experiential/Immersive/Events.
The Bronze Pencils were equally diverse and wide-ranging. 22Feet Tribal Worldwide Mumbai with McCann India and Butterfly Cannon London won a Bronze for “The Art of Survival” in Design and Branding, Craft — Illustration. Leo India Mumbai won a Bronze for “Gamers on Duty” for Lenovo in Branded Entertainment, Games/Gaming, and another Bronze for “The Unofficial Official Sound of F1” for PepsiCo in Content Creator, Creator-Led Content — Single. Ogilvy Mumbai won two Bronze Pencils — one for “Chai Bansuri — The Tea Flute” for Brooke Bond Taj Mahal Tea in Music and Sound Craft, Innovation in Music and Sound Craft, and another for “Renu vs The City” for St. Jude India ChildCare Centres in Health and Wellness, Craft — Writing. VML India Mumbai also won a Bronze for “The Kolhapuri” for Kalapuri in Design and Branding, Collateral — Booklets, Books and Brochures.
On the global stage, Ogilvy Singapore led the world in Gold Pencil wins with nine — all for “Vaseline Verified” on behalf of Vaseline, working with Ogilvy South Africa, Ogilvy UK, and Ogilvy New York. Three agencies — LePub México, Rethink Toronto, and Uncommon Creative Studio London — had seven Gold Pencils each, followed by McCann Paris and Omnicom Chicago with six each.
This year’s One Show received entries from 69 countries, with the global jury awarding agencies, studios, brands, production companies, and designers in 57 countries a total of 132 Gold Pencils, 162 Silvers, 296 Bronze, and 747 Merits.
The announcement of Pencil and Merit winners was made ahead of The One Show 2026 gala awards ceremony — the conclusion of Creative Week 2026 in New York — hosted by comedian and actor Leslie Jones, where Best of Show, Best of Discipline, special awards, and “of the Year” honours will be unveiled. The One Show 2026 Global Creative Rankings will be announced on May 18, 2026.
