Bengaluru: Gnani.ai, India’s full-stack sovereign Voice AI platform, has announced the appointment of Sriraman Ranganathan as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its leadership team as the company prepares for its next phase of growth and international expansion.
In his new role, Sriraman will lead Gnani.ai’s financial strategy and operations, with responsibilities spanning financial planning and analysis, corporate governance, compliance, capital allocation, risk management, and strategic growth initiatives. He will work closely with the leadership team to enhance operational excellence, support scalability, and drive long-term value creation.
Sriraman joins Gnani.ai with more than two decades of experience across startups and multinational organisations spanning manufacturing, automotive, IT services, and SaaS sectors.
Over the course of his career, he has developed expertise in strategic finance, corporate finance, FP&A, mergers and acquisitions, strategic transactions, and corporate restructuring. His experience includes leading IPO readiness initiatives, managing corporate restructuring programmes, establishing shared services centres, and supporting strategic exits through financial preparedness, due diligence, data room management, and company sale processes.
Before joining Gnani.ai, Sriraman served as Chief Financial Officer at Veersa Technologies. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years at Freshworks in senior finance leadership roles including Senior Director Finance and Director Finance, contributing during a phase of rapid growth and business expansion. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President Finance (CFO) at DataTracks, where he helped scale global SaaS operations over a seven-year tenure.
His professional journey also includes leadership positions across organisations including Amalgamations Valeo Clutch Private Limited, Saint-Gobain Group in India, Hindustan Colas Private Limited, and Indian Railways.
The appointment comes at a time when demand for agentic AI, Voice AI, and enterprise automation solutions continues to accelerate globally, creating new growth opportunities for AI-led technology companies.
With extensive experience in scaling high-growth businesses and aligning financial frameworks with business strategy, Sriraman is expected to play a critical role in strengthening Gnani.ai’s financial architecture and supporting the company’s expansion ambitions across global markets.
