Bengaluru: WeWork India Management Limited has announced two strategic leadership appointments aimed at accelerating growth across its Managed Offices business and Rivet by WeWork India.
As part of the expansion, Zuni Abhijit Chitnis has joined as Associate Director – Managed Offices, with a focus on driving business growth in Pune, while Drishya Pillai has been appointed Associate Director – Business Development for Rivet by WeWork India, with the mandate to strengthen national market expansion.
The appointments reflect WeWork India’s continued investment in specialised leadership capabilities as enterprise demand for flexible workspace, customised office environments, and integrated workplace solutions continues to accelerate.
India’s office leasing market remains on a strong growth trajectory, with gross leasing volumes reaching 21.9 million sq. ft. in Q1 2026, supported by rising demand from Global Capability Centres (GCCs), multinational corporations, and evolving enterprise real estate strategies.
Strengthening its Managed Offices vertical, WeWork India has brought on board Zuni Chitnis, who brings more than two decades of experience across hospitality, client relationship management, and flexible workspace solutions. Her previous experience includes driving managed and flex workspace solutions at CoWrks.
Commenting on her appointment, Zuni Chitnis said, “Managed Offices have moved from a niche consideration to a strategic imperative for enterprises prioritising efficiency and flexibility. Pune is one of India’s most dynamic commercial markets, with strong demand across IT, BFSI, manufacturing, and GCCs, and the opportunity here is significant. WeWork India is uniquely positioned to capture that demand, and I look forward to driving that growth for our enterprise clients.”
In her new role, she will focus on expanding WeWork India’s managed office footprint in Pune, strengthening enterprise relationships, and delivering customised workspace offerings aligned with evolving business needs.

Commenting on the appointments, Priti Shetty, Chief People and Culture Officer, said, “India’s workplace market is undergoing a structural shift, and WeWork India is leading that transformation. Today, enterprises are looking for strategic partners who can help them navigate workplace transformation across design, flexibility, operational efficiency, and employee experience. As we continue to expand our presence across managed offices, workplace consulting, and design-build solutions, strengthening leadership in these high-growth segments is a strategic priority. Zuni and Drishya’s appointments are a reflection of that strategy. Their deep market expertise and strong industry relationships will help us accelerate growth, deepen client partnerships, and enhance our ability to serve enterprise customers across their workplace lifecycle. These appointments reflect our long-term commitment to building future-ready leadership and investing ahead of market demand.”
Alongside Managed Offices, WeWork India is also expanding Rivet, its integrated design and build platform focused on delivering customised, experience-led workspaces for enterprise clients.
To support this growth, Drishya Pillai joins with expertise spanning architecture, interior design, workplace strategy, and commercial real estate. Her multidisciplinary experience is expected to support Rivet’s business development and long-term expansion plans.
Speaking on her new role, Drishya Pillai said, “Organisations today are making smarter decisions about their workspaces, and what they want is a partner who understands both design and business. A great workspace design goes beyond aesthetics, it must be buildable, adaptable, and able to perform years after handover. At Rivet, backed by WeWork India’s deep experience in designing, building, and operating workspaces at scale, we understand how people actually use spaces over time, and what it takes to make them last. That intersection of thoughtful design, operational reality, and long-term performance is where Rivet sits. I’m excited to help build Rivet into the market’s trusted partner.”
As Associate Director – Business Development for Rivet, Drishya will lead market expansion initiatives, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships nationally.
Together, these appointments underline WeWork India’s broader strategy of building leadership depth across high-growth business verticals while strengthening its position in enterprise workspace solutions.
Operating across eight cities with more than 1.26 lakh desks and a member portfolio comprising nearly 77% enterprise clients, WeWork India continues to expand its footprint in response to evolving workplace expectations and increasing demand for agile, premium workspace environments.
