Hyderabad: From the ghaats of Varanasi, Gangaa is traversing through states and cities to reach the South of India.
Ever since the show Gangaa went on air on Zee Group’s secondary GEC ‘&TV’, it has appealed to the viewers and found a strong fan following across age groups in North India. Now this heartwarming story of a child widow Gangaa is all set to speak Telugu as the show will be aired on Zee Telugu to consolidate its appeal with South India also.
Gangaa is an inspiring story of a child widow who is characterized with an indomitable spirit and will to survive. She is seen questioning age-old customs with innocence and resilience that ensures she emerges a winner. This gripping and beautifully narrated tale is sure to make way into the viewers’ heart.
Zee Telugu has a strong fiction line-up in Telugu GEC Segment and the Channel hopes that Gangaa’s storyline will definitely connect well with the audience in A.P and Telangana.
Gangaa on Zee Telugu commenced on 3rd August at 5:30 PM and it is scheduled to be aired on every Monday to Saturday.
According to the BARC ratings of week 29 for the period 18th July to 24th July, Zee Telugu was topping the GEC market in AP with 137 TVTs, followed by Maa TV 126 TVTs and Gemini TV stood at no. 3 with 117 TVTs.
