Acer India joins hands with Admitad for affiliate marketing

New Delhi: The e-commerce boom is not over yet, as scores of brands are diversifying their strategies to forge ahead with their online sales plans. Ever since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of people moving online to make purchases has risen exponentially, paving the way for data-backed marketing strategies. Admitad India, one of India’s leading affiliate networks has partnered with the Taiwanese electronics and hardware corporation, Acer in India, to help them optimize opportunities for growth through their D2C ecommerce initiative.

Acer, the leading PC brand in multiple segments like gaming, education and more has for decades pioneered in bringing to market cutting-edge laptops, AIOs, tablets, desktops monitors, projectors, accessories, air purifiers, wireless earbuds among other things and affiliate marketing has proven to be a tried and tested method to drive online sales for electronic brands. Through this exclusive partnership with Admitad, Acer India aims to devise strategies for a seamless online campaign with their support by monitoring the quality and volume of traffic and also transactions via Admitad’s reporting dashboard. The tracking platform allows easy real-time monitoring tools to meet the campaign objectives.

Affiliate marketing is increasingly appealing to brands that wish to expand their presence online, owing to the sheer numbers attracted by e-commerce platforms. The online marketplaces are receiving more traffic since the pandemic, as almost all essential and everyday products are being procured online. Even residents of tier ii, and iii cities are open to exploring online marketplaces. The trends are even more convincing for the electronics & gadgets segment, as 2020 turned out to be the year that such brands achieved the highest sales through Admitad and others. In the first quarter of 2021 alone, Admitad data suggests that the electronics segment generated a turnover of 61% of the total sales volume.

As a 100% performance based business model, affiliate marketing allows brands to look at authentic traffic sources for one’s products, while facilitating an atmosphere conducive for targeted engagement and ROI. Among the various means available at their disposal, brands choose to promote cashback schemes, coupons, price comparison, and loyalty programs, etc. creating a win-win for both publishers and advertisers alike through affiliate.
