Ad Volumes on television reaches historic high in week 43 of 2020

Mumbai: Television Advertisement Volumes has reached its peak during the week 43 of 2020. According to data released by BARC India, Week 43 has witnessed the highest ever Ad Volumes on television since week 16 – 2015 on Television.

In Week 43, Ad Volume of Television touched the highest ever figures of 38,705,978 Million seconds. BARC justified that the growth in ad volume was driven upward by the festive season and big ticket properties aired on Broadcast Networks.

Between week 43 over 2nd highest week there was a 2.1% volume growth. When compared with the third highest week, there was a 5.7% volume growth.

The spiking trend was witnessed week on week as the Second highest ever Ad Volume was reached just a week before in Week 42 of 2020 clocking 37.9 Million Seconds.

The trend reveals the fact that Ad Volumes are also coming to normal when compared to Week 43 of 2018, which happened to be the third highest week of Ad Volumes on Television with 36.6 Million seconds.
