Mumbai: WPP Media has appointed Anooj Shetty as National Head – Client Development for its Advanced TV business in India, effective March 26, 2026.
In his new role, Shetty will lead client development and engagement, revenue, and regional partnerships across WPP Media’s Advanced TV vertical. He announced the appointment on LinkedIn, noting that the role carries a broader mandate than his previous position.
Shetty moves up from National Head – Growth Accounts, a role he held at WPP Media from November 2024 to January 2026. Prior to that, he served as Client Engagement Director at GroupM from August 2022 to October 2024, working within the Advanced TV practice that has since been consolidated under WPP Media.
Before joining GroupM, Shetty was Senior Manager at BARC India, the country’s television audience measurement body, which gave him grounding in TV data and analytics. Earlier in his career he held ad sales and account roles at Star TV Network and Reliance Broadcast Network.
WPP Media rebranded from GroupM in May 2025 and operates Advanced TV as a dedicated practice focused on addressable, connected, and programmatic television advertising in India.
