BARC WK 39: Star Plus leads Hindi GEC Pay-TV and Hindi GEC Urban; Star Utsav secures the 3rd spot in Hindi GEC Rural

BARC WK 39: Star Plus leads Hindi GEC Pay-TV and Hindi GEC Urban; Star Utsav secures the 3rd spot in Hindi GEC Rural

For week 39 in the Hindi GEC Pay-TV category, we see Star Plus leading the category with 917mn impressions. In week 38 Star Plus had 960mn impressions which is a fall of 43mn impressions, followed by Sony SAB on the 2nd spot with 616mn impressions. We have Colors on the 3rd spot with 540mn impression followed by ZEE TV on the 4th spot with 529mn impressions.

For the 5th spot and 6th spot, we see Sony Entertainment Television with 444mn impressions and Star Utsav with 415mn impressions and we have Sony Pal at the 7th spot with 242mn impressions. The last 3 spots are secured by Star Bharat with 227mn impressions, Dangal with 184mn impressions and Colors Rishtey with 178mn impressions.

Hindi GEC Rural:

With no changes in the positions for the Hindi GEC Rural category, this week also we see Star Utsav leading the category that had witnessed a rise of 136mn impressions in week 39 followed by Zee Anmol on the 2nd spot and Sony Pal that moved up to the 3rd spot this week. Previous week’s 3rd spot Dangal that gets down to the 4th spot and for the 5th spot we have Colors Rishtey. While Star Plus, Big Magic, Zee TV, Sony SAB, and Colors are the last 5 contenders in this category.

Hindi GEC Urban:

The undisputed leader Star Plus having a dream run this week too by leading the Hindi GEC Urban category, Sony SAB on the 2nd spot followed by Star Utsav that moved up to the 3rd spot this week. We see that in week 39 Colors dropped down to the 4th spot and Sony Entertainment Television moving up to the 5th spot. While Zee TV, Sony Pal, Colors Rishtey, Dangal and Star Bharat being the last 4 contenders in this category.
