Cannes: Cheil has won 2 Lions at the most coveted Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Cheil has bagged a Silver Glass Lion for Samsung Technical School – Seema Nagar and Bronze Innovation Lion for Good Vibes project.
The Samsung Technical School – Seema Nagar campaign that fetched a Silver Glass Lion for Cheil, emphasises the importance of girl child education and urges particularly in rural India to encourage their daughters to step out of home. The campaign features Seema Nagar who breaks traditional barriers and comes to The Samsung Technical School to pursue her passion.
The Good Vibes project that won the Bronze Innovation Lion, was conceptualised by Cheil for the launch of mobile app designed and created exclusively for the deaf and blind. The campaign talks about the app that enables the deaf and blind to use smartphone with few taps and touches using morse code and enables two way communication that eases the usage of smartphone for the visually challenged people.
