Chrome Optimal Week 45: BJP tops list of most aired Ad; Thugs of Hindostan is most watched and Vicks Inhaler is most liked

Mumbai: Chrome Data Analytics and Media Optimal – India’s largest primary research and data analytics company conducted a study across India has conducted a survey on the “Top Ads of the week” across the country.

The survey was conducted in 34000 panel homes, for the week 45 – 2018, analysing the effectiveness of the advertisements telecasted on television during the week 45 against week 44 -2018 through three broad categories,   Most aired ads, most watched ads and most liked ads.

According to the study, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the most aired advertisement in week 45 stepping ahead from the 2nd most aired ads in week 44. Following the leader is the last week’s leader of the category Incredible India’s ads that has taken a step down this week. Trivago has climbed from its last week’s position of 5th slot and has emerged as the 3rd most aired ads of week 45. Google Pay and Netflix are the new entrants this week standing at the 4th and 5th places in week 45.

Santoor Sandal and Turmeric – Soap and Paytm Mall that occupied the 3rd and 4th most aired ads in week 44 haven’t scored in the list of the top 5 most aired ads in week 45.

The survey also unveils the “most watched ads” in week 45, and all the brands happen to be new entrants pushing down brands like amazon.in, Samsung Galaxy A7, Oppo F9 Pro ,Lifebuoy Toilet – Soap and Santoor Sandal and Turmeric – Soap out of the list of the top 5 most watched ads in week 45.

Ads of  Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer the  epic action-adventure film,  Thugs of Hindostan  tops the most watched ads chart this week, following which Google Pay and Head & Shoulders Dandruff are the 2nd and 3rd most watched ads respectively. Dove Cream Bathing Bar is the 4th  most watched ads” this week while Vaseline Intensive Care occupies the 5th slot in the list

Analysing  the most liked ads category of the survey, the new entrant Vicks Inhaler is the most liked ads by the viewers while Oppo F9 Pro has climbed to emerge as the 2nd most liked ad against its position as the 4th most liked ads in week 44. Another pair of new entrants Vicks cough drops and Ultratech cement stood in the places of 3rd and 4th places respectively this week. Samsung Galaxy A7 has stepped down to the 5th slot against the 2nd most liked ads last week.
