Mumbai: The Coca-Cola Company has announced the elevation of Siddharth Subramanian to the role of Director – Marketing, Digital Commerce, reinforcing its focus on strengthening digital-first consumer engagement strategies. Based in Gurugram, Subramanian will continue to play a key role in scaling the company’s digital commerce capabilities and expanding brand presence across emerging touchpoints.
Subramanian shared the update via a LinkedIn post, reflecting on his journey and highlighting his contribution to “building digital commerce at scale” while shaping how brands connect with consumers in critical, real-time moments.
He joined The Coca-Cola Company in 2024 as Digital Commerce Lead, where he was instrumental in advancing the company’s online and omnichannel commerce initiatives. His elevation signals Coca-Cola’s continued emphasis on integrating commerce with marketing to drive growth in an increasingly digital ecosystem.
Prior to his stint at Coca-Cola, Subramanian spent close to four years at Flipkart, where he handled multiple leadership roles across grocery and wholesale businesses. His responsibilities included serving as Associate Director and P&L Head for Flipkart Grocery North, Senior Manager for National Accounts, and Sell Head for FMCG Foods at Flipkart Wholesale. During this period, he gained extensive experience in category growth, distribution strategy, and scaling digital retail operations.
Earlier in his career, Subramanian worked with Godrej Consumer Products, managing a portfolio of leading brands such as Cinthol, HIT, Good Knight, and Godrej No. 1 across sales and marketing functions. He began his professional journey as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Ashok Leyland.
With this elevation, Coca-Cola appears to be doubling down on its digital commerce ambitions, aligning marketing, distribution, and consumer engagement strategies in a rapidly evolving retail landscape.
