Collective Creative Labs executes real-time, on-ground travel campaign for OPPO Reno15 Series

Mumbai: Collective Artists Network’s Collective Creative Labs (CCL) has executed a travel-led campaign for OPPO’s upcoming Reno15 Series, highlighting an evolving approach to travel and lifestyle advertising that prioritises real-time production, on-ground adaptability, and organic storytelling over tightly controlled studio setups.

Shot entirely on location across Kerala, the campaign was anchored in real environments, natural light and moment-driven narratives. Rather than relying on post-production to create a sense of spontaneity, the creative and production teams designed the shoot to remain fluid, allowing the story to evolve naturally in response to changing conditions on ground.

The three-day execution spanned Kochi, Alappuzha and Athirapalli, with the crew navigating diverse terrains and logistical constraints. Several locations were accessible only by water, while others operated under restricted entry windows due to forest regulations. Coordinating talent schedules, equipment movement and travel across land and waterways—amid unpredictable weather—demanded a production model capable of making decisions in real time, instead of following rigid, pre-set plans.

For Collective Creative Labs, the emphasis was not on scale, but on building a production system that could remain responsive under pressure. As brands increasingly seek travel and lifestyle content that feels authentic, mobile-first and unforced, the ability to adapt on location is emerging as a critical component of the creative process.

Commenting on the execution, Sanjana Jain, CEO, Collective Creative Labs, said, “A strong idea can still fall apart if the execution isn’t thought through end to end. On this campaign, production required original thinking at every step, from access and movement to how we used time and location. Those problem-solving decisions shape the final work as much as the concept itself.”

The campaign underscores a broader shift within advertising production, particularly in the travel and lifestyle category, where agencies are re-evaluating how work is created. Greater emphasis is being placed on adaptability, real-world environments and in-the-moment decision-making, signalling a move towards more agile, experience-led production models.
