Mumbai: Edstead, the research-driven documentary studio known for its purpose-led narratives, has officially elevated Elvis Anthony to the role of Chief Creative Officer & Creative Head. A key founding force behind Edstead’s content identity, Elvis will now spearhead the studio’s overall creative vision while continuing to lead its production and delivery verticals.
A longtime collaborator and storyteller, Elvis has been instrumental in shaping several of Edstead’s marquee projects, including The Future Schools, Great Indian Residential Schools, The Indian EdTech Story, and The Bharat Fintech Story—films that have defined the studio’s ethos of content-first, impact-driven narratives.
“Being part of Edstead’s journey has been deeply rewarding. The studio is built on storytelling that drives impact, narratives that shift perspectives, and sparks conversations. To me, creativity is about meeting people where they are and resonating with them in powerful ways. I’m looking forward to this next chapter as we dive into new stories, bold ideas, and fresh possibilities,” said Elvis Anthony, CCO & Creative Head, Edstead.
In his expanded role, Elvis will guide Edstead into its next phase of creative evolution, developing original IPs and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling across formats—from long-form documentaries to branded digital content.
Shekhar Bhattacharjee, Founder, Edstead, added, “Elvis has been our invaluable pillar at Edstead. His creative direction and leadership have helped shape our identity as a content-first brand. With this new role, we are confident he will lead Edstead into an exciting new era of growth and innovation.”
Elvis’s career spans two decades and includes stints with leading content platforms and media houses, such as DishTV Smart, Times Music, and Outlook Publishing, where he held key creative roles across music videos, brand films, and editorial content. His ability to combine storytelling craft with cultural insight has helped Edstead emerge as a go-to studio for brands and institutions seeking thoughtful, documentary-style storytelling.
With Elvis at the creative helm, Edstead aims to expand its footprint as a pioneer in narrative-led content, telling stories that are culturally relevant, socially impactful, and visually rich.
