Mumbai:  It’s only human to feel the pain when something happens to your loved one. That pain, at whatever age, is much deeper than suffering by yourself.

This father’s day, Helpchat has brought alive this insight to ask its users to ride safe. A beautifully shot film shows the apathy of a youngster towards his own safety. And a complete turnaround when his father risks his own life to make the point. Thus the gift by the father turned out to be the biggest gift by the son.

Sukesh Nayak, ECD Ogilvy Mumbai, whose team conceptualised the idea: Youth of today cannot be taught…they are far more aware and have even stronger judgements. Yet road rage and accidents are common and youngsters are being reckless while riding. The thrill blinds them to see the pain their parents will go through in case of any injury to them. But if we state this as it is, they will never listen to us. So we used the opportunity of father’s day to make them ‘realise’ this.
