“This partnership has been a roaring success. Over 3.3 lakhs students have participated in this edition alone and now, Read India Celebration is on a real mission to have 100 crore Indian readers by the year 2025. Viewers, I would like to proudly announce that the Republic Media Network will be a part of this monumental journey. We will launch something special very soon!”, said Arnab Goswami, Editor-In-Chief, Republic Media Network, in an announcement during the 9pm debate.

Read India Celebration 2021 International, an association between Republic Media Network and Read India Celebration (RIC) is a grand stage to celebrate Independent Thinking, Diverse Opinions, Knowledge & Teacher as the basis for living. A stage to celebrate human essence with students from across the world.

“Read India Celebration is an initiative to enhance the practical reading and problem-solving skills of students. We do this by focusing on 3 aspects: – Read, Think & Act. The journey of ‘Read India Celebration’ started in 2015 with 1 lakh registrations from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Today, RIC 2021 received 3.3 lakh registrations from across the country. The initiative also received registrations from countries like Oman, Qatar, the UAE, and the USA. The vision of RIC is to make India a knowledge-based culture. For 2022, we want to take this initiative to all corners of India, and we want more and more participants to speak in their regional languages. A nation that does not read, think, act independently, can never be progressive. I would like to see an India of readers, I would like to see an India of independent thinkers, I would like to see India of innovators and if more and more people start reading then that will be a game changer for the country.”, says Raghuram Ananthoj, Founder, Read India Celebrations.

Read India Celebration has made it its mission to enable 100 crore readers in India by 2025. The initiative is all about instilling the habit of reading in the younger generation across the nation and globe. It celebrates the benefits of practical reading and independent thinking. Through reading, a nation can create a society that can understand and adapt to the process of growth and success.
