National: After successful clutter-breaking campaigns through 2019, Shoppers Stop, India’s premier fashion and beauty destination, launches its first campaign for the year with a beautiful Valentine’s Day film. This endearing campaign in association with Make Love Not Scars touches upon the importance of self-love and acceptance for an acid attack survivor. Valentine’s Day is all about gifting your loved ones! Shoppers Stop takes this a notch higher by encouraging acid attack survivors to gift themselves a life full of respect and self-love.
The campaign aptly titled, Scarred Not Scared, takes you through a shopping experience of a young acid attack survivor – Rima. The protagonist walks around the store buying items for individuals who have encouraged her through the toughest of times while remaining non-judgemental. She reminisces how her colleagues never turned their backs on her, how her neighbor calls her a strong woman and how her mother re-instilled her faith in humanity. The campaign goes on to show how the protagonist has learned to love herself again, celebrate her existence and gives herself a makeover at the store.
Shoppers Stop contributes to rebuilding the lives of acid attack survivors for every product purchased from the beauty section. Visit your nearest Shoppers Stop store to do your bit! The brand will be running multiple offers on beauty and fragrance brands during the Valentine’s Day weekend:
