In India, gaming and Ed-tech have been the key focus business areas during the pandemic and we are laying down our foundation on these learnings that how these new segments have evolved. Our Focus 2021 for SVG Media, will be a razor-sharp focus on generating high gross profits, shifting gears within the existing business line-up. SVG Media will work closely on generating audience insights through dentsu programmatic, along with our proprietary Ad-tech products.

Profit first – Always the Top Priority

SVG Media is very clear in its numerouno priority for 2021 – the focus would largely be on business verticals that promise consistent growth. The organisation is bullish on profitability. 2020 has been a year of consolidation, and 2021 would be one of incisive growth and revenue generation.

Global Expansion

SVG Media has consistently been aggressive in generating revenue in the digital space from the global market. The pandemic has strengthened our belief and strategic decision to steadily expand our global footprints. It hedged the possible shrinkage, giving the much-needed growth thrust. It is only natural that in 2021, we would grow ourselves deeper into South-East Asia and the MENA region. We are in the process of finalising global partnerships for our offerings that will be specific as per local market requirements.

Product Precision

In the last two years, SVG Media has invested heavily in building its own real time bidding (RTB) platform. It has given high enrichment of audience with data layering to its clients, both in India as well as across the globe. Brands have benefitted tremendously from our platform offerings. SVG Media has consolidated native and video partnerships in India. We intend to add greater value for content creators and publishers equally. SVG Media has taken a step forward by creating ‘Altum’, its ad-serving & tracking platform. With our unique fingerprinting solution, we help clients measure frequency, reach and overlap across publishers, even publishers behind the walled garden, thereby optimising spends. We help power some of the Ad-tech solutions with dentsu Marketing Cloud initiative like Hyperlocal targeting, Ad server, SSP, DSP & Bidder. We have certified our platforms with leading third-party technologies such as those of Google, Yahoo, MOAT, Whiteops & Nielson DAR and more.

Garner Gaming

Gaming has witnessed a radical growth in 2020. The trend is bound to continue. Gamers’ preferences have evolved from rummy, poker, casino games to fantasy games, casual games such as Ludo, carrom and others. Real time bidding platforms of SVG Media will help connect users and the supply side of game inventory. Brands utilise gamification at the other end of the spectrum to connect with their users for greater effectiveness. SVG will contribute to this marketing goal, as well. We have expertise to build simple to complicated playable ads within either HTML5 & M-raid delivery engines. We help provide multiple engagement touchpoints within a playable ad, with appropriate measurement for business insights.

Content and Content Marketing

Content is the backbone of any communication. Brands utilise it to elicit a response from their audience. Real time bidding can tremendously contribute to marketing efforts through greater ROI for their spends. Brands can reach the right audience at the right time through the right platform. Data science can help them plan better for future content format and type through effectively utilising such data mining.

Talent

From the perspective of organisation pyramid, 2021 will be focused on the middle-level managers who will act as a perfect catalyst for growth. They are digital natives, backed by the experience of having spent a few years in the digital industry. This makes them an ideal choice of growth drivers. SVG believes in inclusion and diversity, with women constituting 30% of our current existing workforce. We intend to keep our workforce agile, training and mentoring them for greater roles and performance.
