Mumbai: Taboola has announced a three-year exclusive partnership with Cricbuzz to enhance user engagement and unlock new monetisation opportunities through personalised content recommendations.

As part of the agreement, Taboola will serve as Cricbuzz’s exclusive content recommendation partner, enabling the platform to leverage its advanced recommendation engine to deliver more relevant, data-driven content experiences to a large and highly engaged user base.

The collaboration comes at a time when sports consumption is increasingly driven by mobile-first behaviour, real-time engagement, and personalised content journeys. As audiences spend more time exploring content beyond live scores, platforms are witnessing rising demand for seamless and intuitive discovery experiences.

Cricbuzz remains one of the most widely used cricket platforms globally, offering real-time match updates, expert commentary, news, and analysis. The platform generates over 567 million monthly page views worldwide and has a strong presence across India and key international markets including Bangladesh, the United States, Pakistan, and the UAE.

By integrating Taboola’s technology, Cricbuzz aims to strengthen engagement metrics such as session depth and content interaction, while also creating incremental monetisation opportunities through more effective content recommendations.
