Usha International extends partnership with MI Emirates for 2026 Season

New Delhi: Usha International, one of India’s most trusted consumer durables brands, has announced the extension of its partnership with MI Emirates as an Official Partner for the 2026 season. Scheduled from December 2, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the renewed alliance marks the second consecutive year of collaboration and further strengthens Usha’s global cricket presence, while reinforcing its long-standing commitment to promoting active, healthy living through sport.

The month-long league will feature six competitive franchises and unfold across Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai—venues that will host 34 high-intensity matches, including the opening fixture and the grand finale. Indian audiences and global cricket fans will be able to tune in through exclusive broadcasts on Zee’s linear television network and its OTT platform, ZEE5.

Speaking about the continued association, Komal Mehra, Head – Sports Initiatives & Associations, Usha International, said, “Our partnership with MI Emirates has been built on trust, shared values, and a passion for sporting excellence. This association reflects Usha’s belief in the power of sport to inspire active lifestyles across cultures and geographies. The League is fast emerging as a truly global tournament and gives us a broader platform to connect with fans in a new region and be part of this high-energy cricketing experience.”

An MI Emirates spokesperson added, “Usha International has been a partner that shares our passion for cricket and dedication to creating memorable experiences for our fans. Usha’s unwavering support over the years has been integral to our journey and we are delighted to continue this successful partnership and leverage our combined reach to inspire the next generation of cricket fans across the UAE.”

The renewed partnership will include a series of fan-centric initiatives such as meet-and-greet sessions with MI Emirates players and digital activations hosted across the team’s social platforms. Engagement formats will feature contests like “Pick the Wrong’Un” and “Player of the Match,” along with exclusive giveaways including signed jerseys, bats, and caps.

Usha International continues to champion inclusive and community-driven sports initiatives across India. Beyond its association with MI Emirates, the brand supports disciplines such as Ultimate Flying Disc, Football, Ladies Amateur and Junior Golf, Cricket for the Deaf, and multiple sports for the visually challenged, including athletics, kabaddi, judo, and powerlifting. Usha also actively works to revive indigenous Indian sports such as Kalaripayattu, Mallakhamb, Siat Khnam, Thang-Ta, Atya Patya, Paika Akhada, Silambam, and more—underscoring its broader mission to preserve heritage and promote physical well-being across generations.

With MI Emirates preparing for a dynamic season and Usha strengthening its footprint across global touchpoints, the extended partnership promises enhanced fan experiences and reaffirms the shared values that continue to shape this successful collaboration.
