The Channel has voluntarily taken the initiate to spread an eco-friendly awareness among the people of Telangana and Andhra by launching the green initiative “Mana Ganapathy Matti Ganapathy” emphasizing the need for usage of Ganesh Idols and Natural Colors instead of Idols made of toxic Chemicals and Colors.
As part of V6 News “Mana Ganapathy Matti Ganapathy” campaign the channel is launching a fortnight long Campaign promoting the cause with a special song specifically composed for this purpose. The lyrics of the Song and Visuals of the video were packaged in a way to encourage them to be responsible by using clay Ganesh Idols and Naturals Colors.
Speaking on the Campaign launch, Mr Ravi Ankam – CEO and Editor-in-Chief of V6 News said, “We at V6 News always take pleasure in being part of the celebrations of Telugu audience such as Bathukamma, Bonalu Festival, Telangana Day and other national festivals. With “Mana Ganapathy Matti Ganapathy” Campaign we will be constantly appealing to the people to use natural Colors and Idols with Clay by educating them with the hazards posed by the usage of Chemicals”.

The Channel will kick start “Mana Ganapathy Matti Ganapathy” Campaign from 1st September to match the mood of the preparation for the Ganesh Chaturthi Festival and will go on for the entire 15 days.
