Global marketing leader WPP has announced an expanded strategic partnership with Vercel, the cutting-edge web development platform, aimed at revolutionising how digital experiences are designed and deployed using artificial intelligence. The collaboration will bring Vercel’s groundbreaking AI technologies — v0 and AI SDK — to WPP’s global network of teams and clients, unlocking new levels of creative speed and efficiency.
This innovative partnership introduces the concept of vibe coding, a new programming approach that leverages natural language prompts to accelerate the development of websites, apps, and digital components. By integrating Vercel’s v0 tool — which transforms plain text descriptions into production-ready code — WPP creatives can move from idea to prototype in record time, even without coding expertise.

“At WPP, we’re committed to providing our talent with the best tools and technologies available to unleash their creativity,” said Stephan Pretorius, Chief Technology Officer at WPP. “The adoption of Vercel’s AI-powered tools will dissolve traditional boundaries between functions. Our teams can now ideate, build, test and deploy groundbreaking digital experiences faster than ever, delivering superior results for our clients.”
Backed by WPP’s recent £300 million annual investment in AI, data, and technology, the partnership reflects the company’s strategic shift toward AI-enabled marketing services. The integration of Vercel’s tools into WPP Open — the company’s AI-powered platform — will help streamline the design and development process across creative, UX, and engineering teams.
According to WPP’s internal testing and a global v0 hackathon hosted earlier this year, Vercel’s tools can improve development efficiency by up to 25%, freeing up teams to focus on storytelling, intuitive user journeys, and visual design excellence. The AI SDK, an open-source toolkit provided by Vercel, will further equip developers to build intelligent, AI-powered products and customer-facing agents.

“This newfound speed will be transformational to how WPP clients engage with consumers,” said Malte Ubl, CTO of Vercel. “v0 allows designers to create UIs in minutes, not months. With AI SDK, WPP engineers are building agentic AI that directly impacts customer efficiency. Together, we’re unlocking a new era of iteration velocity for one of the most powerful creative engines in the world.”
In addition to priority access to Vercel’s upcoming product releases, WPP will play an advisory role in shaping Vercel’s technology roadmap and co-invest in new product development and innovation.
