Mumbai: India’s digital platform for live entertainment artists on-demand, Live101 announces a new addition to its board of directors – Laqshya Event Capital and EVENTFAQS founder – Deepak Choudhary. 41-year-old Choudhary comes armed with over 19 years of experience in the events industry and his company, Laqshya Event Capital has successfully helmed some of India’s biggest IPs.
Founded in 2017, Live101 is India’s premier, tech-based, on-demand live entertainment platform, that provides artists anywhere, anytime. The artist aggregation service is one of the fastest-growing and largest tech platforms for live artists in India. The digital-only platform was founded with the aim of eliminating middlemen when it comes to hiring artists for live events. It aims at supporting local artists as well as provide entertainers for live-at-home and outdoor events. The tech-enabled platform is hardcoded to provide artist options based on several preferences such as genre, location and price, across India. One can also preview artist past performances to get the best options. This service is enabled across 40 cities in India. Deepak Choudhary made a foray into the events industry back when it was in its infancy in the early 2000s; he founded an Event Management school and from there on he never looked back. From education and the F&B businesses to founding Event Capital and EVENTFAQS, and even co-authoring his first-ever book on the Indian live events space ‘Staged’, Deepak Choudhary dons many hats.
