Mumbai: Hook.online, the RPSG Group’s digital-first media venture, has announced the appointment of Vikram Chawla as its new Sales Head. Chawla, a seasoned media professional with over 17 years of experience across print and digital domains, is set to take charge in the coming week and will be based at the company’s Delhi headquarters.
In his new role, Chawla will lead the platform’s revenue function and play a strategic role in driving content innovation and monetisation efforts.
Chawla joins Hook.online from Times Internet Ltd., where he spent nearly eight years. In his most recent role as National Sales Manager, he led key advertising verticals for The Times of India, The Economic Times, and their language digital properties, contributing significantly to digital revenue growth.
His prior experience spans leadership and business roles at UC Web India (an Alibaba company), Jagran Prakashan, HT Media, and Business Standard, offering him a broad view of India’s evolving media landscape.
Hook.online, part of the RPSG Group’s ambitious digital media portfolio, caters to Gen Z and Millennial audiences through short-form, reel-based news and lifestyle content. It also produces original podcasts and recently acquired MensXP, iDiva, and HYPE from the Mensa Group, expanding its influence in youth and culture-led content.
Chawla’s appointment comes at a time when Hook.online is strengthening its positioning as a go-to digital destination for new-age audiences and advertisers alike.
