Western Digital highlights 24×7 security needs with new WD Purple awareness campaign

Mumbai: Western Digital has published a new awareness campaign for its WD Purple smart video HDDs, designed to meet the challenges of 24×7 video surveillance recording. At the heart of this campaign is a collaboration with television trio: Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and Narendra Gupta to raise awareness about buying authentic WD Purple HDDs to help keep your data and your property safe. Beloved for their roles in the crime show, the TV trio is known for their on-screen dedication to justice and integrity. Their presence brings authenticity and gravitas to the campaign, perfectly reflecting the core values of WD Purple: trust, reliability, performance and vigilance.

The campaign taps into the entertainment of the show, while focusing on the importance of using original, purpose-built and reliable storage solutions from Western Digital. Through humour and nostalgia, the trio investigates a case, emphasizing how original, authentic WD Purple and WD Purple Pro drives can safeguard crucial footage when it matters most.

Commenting on the collaboration and campaign, and how important it is to buy from authorised resellers, Owais Mohammed, Sales Director India, Middle East, and Africa, Western Digital said, “Through this collaboration and campaign, our goal is to educate customers about the importance of buying and using purpose-built original storage solutions like WD Purple that are designed specifically for 24/7 reliability and performance essential for security systems.
