Mumbai: Inspira Enterprise, a global cybersecurity services organisation, has announced the appointment of Lt General (Dr) Rajesh Pant, Ex-National Cyber Security Coordinator, PMO, Government of India, as Strategic Advisor. In his new role, Lt. Gen Pant will guide and shape Inspira’s approach to delivering cybersecurity advisory services while providing valuable strategic insights to help organisations align their security efforts with broader business goals — and stay a step ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Lt. Gen Pant is an internationally recognised leader in the information security field with several decades of experience. Until recently, he held the prestigious appointment of National Cyber Security Coordinator in the National Security Council Secretariat of India under the PMO — a tenure during which India rose from 47th to 10th position in the Global Cybersecurity Index of the United Nations. Prior to that, he headed the Army’s Cyber Training establishment for three years and served in the Army Signals Corps for 41 years, during which he was awarded three times by the President of India for distinguished service of the highest order.
Lt. Gen Pant has represented India at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting on Cybersecurity, the Global Cybersecurity Forum at Riyadh, Bilateral Dialogues with the USA and Russia, QUAD Dialogues, the Prague 5G Security Conclave, and Israel and Singapore Cyber Weeks. He also led the Resilience vertical of the Global Counter Ransomware Initiative. He holds a PhD in Information Security metrics, an MTech from IIT Kharagpur, an MPhil from Madras University, and a Master of Management Studies from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
