Mumbai: Mirchi has elevated Nisha Patel to Assistant Vice President — Marathons and Sustainability. Patel steps up from her previous role as National Product Revenue Head for the same vertical, where she held national-level accountability for revenue and partnerships across Mirchi’s marathon properties and sustainability-focused brand solutions — a portfolio that sits at the meeting point of mass participation events and purpose-driven marketing.
As AVP, she takes on broader strategic oversight of a vertical she has been instrumental in shaping at scale. The Marathons and Sustainability business has emerged as one of Mirchi’s more differentiated offerings in the live and experiential space, and Patel’s elevation signals the network’s intent to deepen its focus there.
Her journey at Mirchi stretches back to March 2016, when she joined the organisation as an Account Manager for Impact Properties — working at the ground level of the business that would eventually become her area of specialisation. Over the nine years since, she moved through multiple roles and functions within the network, accumulating a breadth of experience across sales, revenue, and product before taking on the national mandate.
The promotion is entirely internal, a relatively rare marker in an industry where senior appointments tend to be driven by lateral movement across organisations.
